Santa Monica, California  --  Internet company OnMeta has secured $2 million in its first venture capital funding round.

OnMeta has developed a vertical Internet search engine focused on delivering improved results in the entertainment space.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor were the proceeds purposes from the financing.
