Simbionix Expands With $7 Million Venture Capital

Cleveland, Ohio  --  Software company Simbionix announced that it has raised $7 million in its series C round of venture capital financing.

Simbionix has developed a number of computer-based simulation technologies for training surgeons in the use of minimally invasive procedures.

River Cities Capital Funds led the round, which also included Early Stage Partners and other undisclosed investors. The company said that the investment will enable it to accelerate its sales and marketing growth.
