UPEK Launches Portable Fingerprint Reader

Emeryville, California  --  Biometric security company UPEK announced the launch and commercial availability of a new portable biometric fingerprint reader.

Called the Eikon To Go, the reader is designed specifically for consumers and supports the current Apple Mac OS in addition to Windows PCs.

The system helps computer users locked their computer, encrypt files with sensitive data, launch applications and remember passwords with the swipe of a finger.
