T2 Biosystems Lands Series B Financing

Cambridge, Massachusetts -- Biotechnology company T2 Biosystems announced that it has secured $10.8 million in its series B round of venture capital financing.

T2 has developed diagnostics technology to help improve medical decision-making in both centralized testing laboratories and point of care locations.

Investors in the round included In-Q-Tel, Flagship Ventures, Polaris Venture Partners and Flybridge Capital Partners. The company said the financing will be used to accelerate the development of its diagnostic platform.
