Intransa Takes In $15 Million Venture Capital

San Jose, California   -- Storage company Intransa announced that it has secured $15 million in a new round of venture capital financing.

Intransa develops and sells what it calls "intelligent IP storage products and software...based on technology that leverages the low cost and maturity of Ethernet technology..."

Rho Ventures led the round, which included Entrepia, Guggenheim Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures and U.S. Venture Partners. The company said the funding would be used to accelerate its sales and marketing efforts.
