Arcadia Biosciences Lands New Venture Capital

Davis, California -- Biotechnology company Arcadia Biosciences announced that it has raised $15 million in a new round of venture capital financing.

Arcadia sells what it calls "agriculture-based technologies that create value for growers and consumers while benefiting the environment and enhancing human health."

Investors in the round included lead investor Exeter Life Sciences, and CMEA Ventures, BASF Venture Capital America and Saints Capital. The company said it would use the funding proceeds to launch its GLA safflower oil product.
