PeerApp Closes $8 Million Series B Financing

Newton Upper Falls, Massachusetts  --  Infrastructure company PeerApp has secured $8 million for its series B venture capital round.

PeerApp supplies peer-to-peer infrastructure solutions to Internet service providers that helps reduce bandwidth costs.

Pilot House Ventures Group, Evergreen Partners and Cedar Fund invested in the round. The company did not disclose how they would use the funding proceeds.
