Accera Inks $35 Million Series C Round

Broomfield, Colorado  --  Biotechnology company Accera announced that it has secured $35 million in its third round of institutional venture capital financing.

Accera is focused on developing therapeutic treatments for neuro-degenerative diseases through its proprietary scientific platform.

The round was led by Inventages Venture Capital and included Posco BioVentures. The company said it would use the funding proceeds to begin sales and marketing of its lead product, Axona.
