Rave Wireless Clears $7 Million Series D

New York, New York  --  Mobile applications company Rave Wireless has secured $7 million in its fourth round of venture capital financing, according to a report in PE Hub.

Rave provides mobile applications and managed mobile phone services, that it says improves communication and enhances academics and safety for colleges and universities.

Investors in the round included Bain Capital Ventures, Sigma Partners and RRE Ventures. Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
