InterAct991 Closes $28 Million Venture Capital Round

Winston-Salem, North Carolina  --  Software company InterAct991 said that it has landed $28 million in a new round of institutional venture capital financing.

InterAct991 provides a variety of public safety software for applications ranging from 911 call processing, records management to video surveillance.

Lead investors in the round were Foundation Capital and Bay Partners, while Silk Road Equity also invested.  The company said they would use the funding to expand its sales and marketing worldwide.
