Gnip Gets Second Venture Capital Financing

San Francisco, California  -- Internet infrastructure company Gnip has raised $3.5 million in its series B round of venture capital funding.

Gnip has developed data exchange infrastructure that allows companies to more efficiently get information out of their databases to their partners and other potential users.

Investors in the round included Foundry Group, SoftTech VC and First Round Capital. The company said that the funding would be used to expand. "The breadth of solutions we can bring to market."
