Kosmix Garners $20 Million Venture Capital Funding

Mountain View, California  --  Internet company Kosmix Corporation has raised $20 million in a new round of institutional venture capital.

Kosmix  is building an Internet search engine that delivers a dashboard of relevant videos, news, photos, commentary and other related links to a particular topic.

Time Warner Investments was the lead investor.  Other investors included Accel Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and DAG Ventures. The funding proceeds purposes were not disclosed by the company.
