Louisville, Kentucky  --  The Federal Aviation Administration announced the launch of a new online tool to help travelers determine the official status of airline flights.

Called HelloFlight.com, the site accesses live data directly from the FAA to track the real-time location of all commercial and many private aircrafts operating in the US air traffic control system.

The site also offers other free information, such as weather details and the effects on flight status, percentage of delays at top US airports and other airport statistics.
