Uptake Medical Receives $3 Million Venture Capital

Seattle, Washington  --  Medical device company Uptake Medical Corp. has raised $3 million in a new round of funding, according to a report in VentureWire.

Uptake is developing medical device technologies to treat patients suffering from emphysema and other types of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD).

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the funding proceeds would be used by the company.
