Discera Receives Fourth Round VC Financing

San Jose, California  --  Semiconductor company Discera has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in its series D round of venture capital investment.

Discera sells high-performance silicon resonators to the frequency and timing control markets, which include consumer products such as cameras and MP3 players as well as military applications.

Investors in the round included Scale Venture Partners, Horizon Ventures, Partech International and others. Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
