Huffington Post Pulls In $25 Million Financing

Herndon, Virginia  -- Internet blog site HuffingtonPost.com has raised $25 million in a new round of expansion and investment.

HuffingtonPost was founded by Arianna Huffington and provides opinion on a wide range of political and cultural topics.

Oak Investment Partners made the investment.  The company said it would use the proceeds to invest in its growth and to make potential acquisitions.
