Siimpel Sees New Venture Capital Funding

Arcadia, California  --  Mobile electronics company Siimpel Corp. has secured $8.7 million in a new round of strategic and venture capital financing.

Siimpel Provides high-quality digital camera components to original equipment manufacturers.

Investors in the round included Qualcomm, Zone Ventures and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Proceeds purposes from the funding were not disclosed.
