GyPSii Launches Mobile Social Networking Platform

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS -- Online company GyPSii has announced the imminent launch of a location-based mobile social networking platform at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The platform, using GPS functionality, allows users to search for people, places, content and events based on their specific location at the time.

The company is wrapping up a three month beta trial in Europe and will roll out the service in the U.S. as well.  The application is already fully compatible with all Windows-based phones, and Nokia's flagship N-series phones.
