Lotame Solutions Raises $10 Million Series A

ELKRIDE, MD -- Online company Lotame Solutions has secured $10 million in its first round of venture capital funding.

Lotame has developed new technology that it says improves the ability of online advertisers to market their products or services inside social networks such as MySpace or Facebook.

Battery Ventures led the financing with $8 million invested.  Previous investors Hillcrest Management and Betaworks also invested in the round.  The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
