SocialIM Brings Real-Time Chat To Facebook

SAN FRANCISCO, CA  -- Social.IM has launched its application bringing real-time chat to Facebook users.

The application turns a member's friends, colleagues and acquaintances into Instant Messaging on the desktop.

In the one month since the company launched its beta test service, the application has transmitted over one million messages.  The service is free and the company plans to integrate its system with other social networks.
