mBlox Launches Global WAP Billing Platform

SUNNYVALE, CA -- Mobile payments company
mBlox
announced the launch of its global WAP billing platform for mobile applications.
WAP Billing is an extension of the company's core SMS offering to mobile service providers, and enables them offer standardized mobile payment methods across national boundaries.
The new system is initially launching in the UK and plans to expand from a successful test there. The company says it provides its services to over 500 carriers located in 180 countries.
