Atrato Attracts $18 Million Venture Capital Funding

WESTMINSTER, CO -- IT company Atrato, Inc. announced that it has received $18 million in new venture capital financing from a group of individual investors.

Atrato provides Web companies with virtualization storage solutions that enable them to access and deliver data for applications such as streaming video content and supercomputing processing.

Individual investors Jesse Aweida, Tom Porter, Gary Gentry and Dick Blaschke invested in the round.  The company did not disclosed how the funds would be used.
