LAS VEGAS, NV -- Online company AmeriBid announced the launch of its online service for disposing of financial and real estate portfolios for institutional owners.
Founded by Larry Latham, Louis B. Fisher III and Doug Dennison, the company says its strategy is to share a portion of the marketing savings upon disposition with the local community in which the foreclosure took place.
The company states that more than one million U.S. homes are currently in foreclosure proceedings and that number is expected to rise throughout 2008.
