ORLANDO, FL -- Open source software companies Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) and Hyperic Inc. announced that a jointly developed management platform project is now live.
Called RHQ, the development aims to create a common services management platform that will be used in each company's future service and product offerings.
The project will provide open collaboration on plug-ins, agent technology and other common capabilities of an application management platform.
