Apex Construction Nets $16 Million Venture Capital

PORTLAND, OR -- Clean tech company Apex Construction Systems, Inc. has raised $16 million in new venture capital funding according to a report in PE Hub.

Apex makes a construction block composed of cement, recycled polystyrene foam and polymers formed into 52 pound homogeneous recyclable blocks.

Existing investors DFJ Element, Nth Power and Emerald Technology Ventures invested in the round.  The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
