NCGR Launches DNA Sequencing Software Application

SANTA FE, NM -- The National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR) announced the launch of a software for analyzing large amounts of DNA sequencing.

Touted as the first web-based system of its kind, Alpheus promises to assist clinicians and researchers to quickly analyze cancers for their particular makeup in each patient in order to customize treatment for better efficacy.

The organization also announced a successful testing process with research hospital Brigham and Women's Hospital, a 747 bed non-profit teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
