Nistica Receives $10 Million Venture Capital Investment

BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- Networking company Nistica, Inc. said that it has raised $10 million from a syndicate of new and existing venture capital investors.

Nistica is developing optical networking subsystems focused on delivering low-cost solutions to the edge of optical networks.

Battelle Ventures and affiliate Innovation Valley Partners led the round.  Novitas Capital, Technology Venture Partners and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority also participated in the funding.

Nistica said it would use the funding proceeds to scale production and customer support functions.
