Proficiency Pulls In $4 Million Expansion Funding

WALTHAM, MA -- Software company Proficiency, Inc. has secured $4.25 million in new venture capital funding from new and existing investors.

Proficiency provides firms that use computer aided design (CAD) the means to collaborate with their suppliers and business partners.

Catalyst Investments led the round, which included existing investors Pitango Venture Capital and Carmel Ventures.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to expand it market penetration efforts.
