Enkata Closes $8 Million Venture Capital Funding

SAN MATEO, CA -- Software company Enkata Technologies, Inc. said that it has raised its next round of venture capital financing, receiving $8 million.

Enkata provides software that helps enterprises analyze their customer interaction data.  The company aims its products at large service firms looking to improve employee productivity and reduce re-work.

Sigma Partners and Apex Venture Partners co-led the round.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to accelerate US and international sales growth.
