Mobile Satellite Firm Receives Interference Patent

RESTON, VA -- Communications company Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) announced that it has been awarded a patent for reducing interference in satellite communications.

The patent is a method for configuring satellite cell patterns in order to improve telephone call quality, increase data rates and lower operator costs.

MSV's satellites deliver mobile wireless voice and data services primarily for public safety, security, fleet management and asset tracking in the U.S. and Canada.
