Cayenne Medical Closes Third Venture Capital Round

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- Medical device maker Cayenne Medical, Inc. announced the close of its series C round of venture capital investment, receiving $15 million.

Cayenne has developed an advanced arthroscopic medical device called the AperFix System that enables surgeons to perform minimally invasive surgery on ACL reconstruction using the hamstring and other soft tissue grafts.

The round was led by Investor Growth Capital and included Split Rock Partners, MB Venture Partners and individual investors.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to expand their sales and marketing efforts and continue developing new products.
