Freescale Joins ONE-NET Wireless Alliance

PETALUMA, CA -- Freescale Semiconductor has joined the ONE-NET wireless networking alliance, adding another company to a growing list of organizations supporting the wireless standard.

The ONE-NET standard is a multi-vendor, open source wireless control protocol that features a high level of security, excellent range and low power consumption.

Freescale says it has over 10,000 customers and has shipped over 18 billion embedded semiconductors for the automotive, consumer, industrial, networking and wireless markets.
