MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- Telephony company Fonolo previewed its service that enables users to avoid the sometimes confusing and complex phone system menus.

Currently in private beta test stage, the system allows a user to find a company he needs to contact on the Fonolo site, then visually scans through the phone menu and clicks on the appropriate point in the company's voice system.  Fonolo then dials to automatically reach that location.

Fonolo says it has developed proprietary technology that automatically "spiders" IVR phone systems, building a database of numbers that consumers typically call.
