Gizmoz Secures Series B Expansion Funding

MIAMI BEACH, FL -- Internet company Gizmoz.com announced that it has raised its second round of venture capital financing, receiving $6.5 million.

Gizmoz' service for consumers allows them to create and share lifelike 3D talking characters or avatars for their online experiences.

DoCoMo Capital led the round, which included previous investors Benchmark Capital and Columbia Capital.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to fund its expansion into Japan and then Asia later.
