Alimera Sciences Closes Third Venture Capital Round

ALPHARETTA, GA -- Pharmaceutical company Alimera Sciences Inc. announced the close of its series C financing round, raising $30 million from all of its existing investors.

Alimera is developing and commercializing both over-the-counter and prescription ophthamology pharmaceutical treatments.

Investors in the round were Scale Venture Partners, Domain Associates, Venrock, Intersouth Partners and Polaris Venture Partners.
