SplashCast Secures Series A Funding Of $4 Million

PORTLAND, OR -- Internet company SplashCast announced that it has received $4 million in series A funding, according to a company press release.

SplashCast provides online marketing solutions for media companies and others seeking to reach the teen and young adult market spending time on the major social networks of Facebook, MySpace and others.

Individual investor Mark Bayliss led the round which included Emergent Growth Fund as an additional investor.  Proceeds purposes from the funding were not disclosed.
