Ciranova Clears New Venture Capital Funding

SANTA CLARA, CA -- Electronic Design Automation (EDA) company Ciranova announced that it has received $5.25 million in new venture capital and strategic investment.

Ciranova is developing language-based cell generator technologies for custom analog and mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs).

Synopsys, Inc. and Mentor Graphics Corporation were the strategic investors, and Alloy Ventures, U.S. Venture Partners and AsiaTech Management returned as venture capital firm investors.  Funding proceeds will be used to further develop and commercialize the company's technologies.
