StemCellPatents Launches Free Stem Cell Database

TORONTO, ON -- Non-profit organization StemCellPatents.com announced the launch of a newly re-designed database that covers US-issued stem cell patents.

According to Dr. Vladimir Bogin, a principal in Cromos Pharma Services, "The minefield of issued patents in the area of stem cell therapy is grossly underestimated by industry.  While the media has focused on the key WARF patents on embryonic stem cells, there are at least 1200 issued patents dealing with stem cells directly in one way or another."

The database is available free of charge.
