EL SEGUNDO, CA -- Software company iRise has raised a new round of venture capital, receiving $20 million from a syndicate of investors.

iRise has developed visualization software that allows users and developers to work together and create a simulation of how the application will operate, before actually coding the software.

Morgan Stanley Venture Partners, Gold Hill Capital, Silicon Valley Bank and Deutsche Bank invested in the round.  The company said it would use the proceeds to continue product development and broaden its distribution channels.
