Barcoding Launches RFID Legacy Bridge System

BALTIMORE, MD -- RFID technology company Barcoding Inc. announced the launch of its system for porting new RFID technology to legacy software systems.

Called the CaptureTech RFID Wedge, it works by connecting to the RFID reader, filtering the information captured from RFID tags and translating that information into the legacy software application.

The wedge connects to any device that supports a USB cable interface and is identified as a human interface device (HID), allowing the information to be transmitted to almost any software program.
