Climos Clears Series A Venture Capital Funding

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Environmental company Climos announced the receipt of $3.5 million in new venture capital funding.

Climos is developing and commercializing new, large scale techniques for removing CO2 from the Earth's atmosphere, focusing on natural solutions to the existing carbon cycle.

Braemar Energy Ventures led the round, which included individual investor Elon Musk.  The company said it would use the funding to develop its Ocean Iron Fertilization (OIF) technology.
