Chumby Reels In Expansion Venture Capital

LA JOLLA, CA -- Electronics company Chumby Industries, Inc. announced that it has raised $12.5 million in series B venture capital funding from a syndicate of firms.

Chumby sells its electronic device of the same name that obtain music, entertainment and information wirelessly from the Web.

JK&B Capital led the round, which included previous investors Avalon Ventures, Masthead Ventures and O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures.
