MediaXstream Closes First Round At $10 Million

SAN JOSE, CA -- Networking company MediaXstream, Inc. (no website) said that it has secured $10 million in its first round of venture capital funding.
The company "provides carrier neutral, high quality transport and managed services for the production and broadcast industries."
Constellation Ventures led the round, which also included Columbia Ventures Corporation. The company said it would use the proceeds to "extend its presence in the marketplace."
