Xantrex Launches Wireless Solar System Monitor

VANCOUVER, BC -- Power electronics company Xantrex Technology Inc. (TSX: XTX) announced the launch of its monitoring system for small scale solar power installations.

Called the Xantrex Gateway, the product is the central communication component of a small commercial or residential solar energy system.  It keeps the owner informed about the system's operation and energy production from any location.

The gateway can monitor up to 20 solar energy inverters, logging the system's performance and transmitting the results wirelessly via built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet capabilities.
