hi5 Launches Third Party Developer Platform

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- International social networking company hi5 announced the launch of its third party web development platform.

Third parties will now be able to port their applications to the hi5 network using a suite of common APIs, including those that are compatible with OpenSocial.

In addition to launching their platform, the company also announced that it is joining as a founding member of the OpenSocial Foundation, a new non-profit foundation proposed by Yahoo!, Myspace and Google.
