American Defense Secures $15 Million Venture Capital

HICKSVILLE, NY -- Security supplier American Defense Systems, Inc. announced that it has closed its series A round of venture capital financing, raising $15 million.

The company designs and manufactures various types of armor, windows, security doors and curtain wall systems for the physical security industry, law enforcement and defense organizations.

West Coast Asset Management led the round which included Centaur Capital Partners.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to develop additional technologies and make selected acquisitions.
