Gridstone Research Pulls In $10 Million Series B

SAN MATEO, CA -- Financial software and services company Gridstone Research has raised $10 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.

Gridstone has developed a financial research platform that assists financial analysts in their decision-making process.

Helion Venture Partners led the round, which also included Charles River Ventures and Maverick Capital.  The company said the funds would be used to continue product development and expand the sales force.
