Collective Intellect Collects Second VC Funding

BOULDER, CO -- Software company Collective Intellect, Inc. announced that it has secured $6.6 million in its series B financing round from a syndicate of venture capital firms.

The company tracks, ranks and filters media content for Fortune 500 companies as part of a business intelligence solution.

Grotech Capital Group led the round, which included Appian Ventures, Crawley Hatfield Capital and Croghan Investments.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to "dramatically" expand its sales and marketing efforts.
