Aperto Networks Nets $20 Million New Financing

MILPITAS, CA -- Networking company Aperto Networks, Inc. announced that it has raised $20 million in new venture capital financing.

Aperto manufactures wireless networking equipment used to connect service providers to broadband customers over the last mile.

Quicksilver Ventures led the round, which included JK&B Capital, GunnAllen Venture Partners, Canaan Partners, Jafco Ventures and Labrador Ventures. 

The company said it would use the proceeds to "solidify [its] position as the leading supplier of mobile and fixed WIMAX products to service providers and customers worldwide."
