CoAxia Closes Series C Venture Capital Round

MAPLE GROVE, MN -- Medical device company CoAxia Inc. announced the final close of its third round of institutional venture capital, receiving an additional $11.5 million.

CoAxia is developing a catheter-based perfusion augmentation system for the treatment of cerebral ischemia (restriction of blood supply).

Canaan Partners led the additional funding tranche, which included existing investors Prism VentureWorks, Baird Venture Partners, Affinity Capital and Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation.
